OK, it's not interiors and it's not toys - but sometimes we come across a brand that is so special, we simply have to show it to you.

And this is one of those brands. Petites Pattes (literally, 'Little Paws') is a British company designing and producing fun and beautiful socks for babies and toddlers up to the age of 4. We were fortunate to meet founder Ella at a recent fair in London, and even more fortunate to receive a set of 'Emotions' socks for our daughter to try out and model! The idea behind the brand is very much in keeping with our own ethos - playful, stylish, eclectic and fun without compromise on quality or practicality. The socks are made from luxurious soft cotton yarn in a well established hosiery factory in Thailand. Using a special knitting technique has eliminated the need for rubber and hence reduces skin irritation around the ankles. Perfect for newborns and young, delicate skin! The 'Emotions' collection comes in 3 different designs and colours - Smiley, One Eye and Dripping Nose - and 2 sizes - ages 1-2 years and 2-4 years. Colours around the ankles are bright and vibrant, and contrast beautifully with the off white feet. And we love the mix and match element too: Lovely socks by a lovely brand. And they really do feel as soft as they look.
