Forest Friends

Fox is in his den,
Curled up cosy underground;
He’s dreaming of red berries
(and the tasty mouse he found).
Little fawn is sleeping too
And so is Buddy Bear;
The bugs are snoozing quietly
Upon the treehouse stair.
The forest folk are playing games:
Pumpkin, Roo and Tiny,
They love collecting acorns
And conkers round and shiny!
Bee and Bat are watching
And so is Toby Toad;
When Rat appears upon his car
Along the forest road.
‘I wondered where this treehouse was –
This path, it never ends!
But here I am - at last,
With my favourite forest friends.’
