When I close my eyes at night, I wonder what I’ll see? The moon, the clouds, the twinkle stars, All looking down on me. Inside my bed – my little house, I snuggle down to sleep; I start to count the golden stars - (and not forgetting sheep). Before too long I hear a sound, A chirp, a honk, a squeak! I sit up slowly, yawn and stretch And take a little peek… There they are – my birds, my mice My bunnies, all my toys; Having fun and playing games And making lots of noise! I knew they came alive at night! So now before I sleep: “Sweet Dreams” I whisper to my teds, “Your secret I can keep”.
