Learning to tell the time. Such an important milestone, and yet so hard to find stylish and functional clocks for children's walls!

Now, we're not normally ones for the usual pink and blue, but we must admit, we do love these bold and bright oversized "Tock" clocks, just perfect for making a statement in their bedrooms whilst helping them to practise telling the time (we're liking the little bird in the middle, too). The clocks are made in Britain by clock specialist Newgate, and available for £57 each from the lovely Daisy Park on-line shop.

They're nice and big, measuring 50cm diameter and taking 1 x AA battery. Not too kiddy, and yet child-appealing enough for little ones to love them, from toddlers right through to teen-hood. And longevity has to be a good thing.
