SWEDISH STYLE 30 Apr

on the wall, wall art, children's wall art, children's wall art prints, animal wall art, Ingela P Arrhenius, Hus and Hem, published by Bobby RabbitYou may remember our first feature earlier this year on Swedish artist Ingela P. Arrhenius's beautiful, retro wall art illustrations printed on to canvas. Well, we found a few more prints recently - and couldn't possibly let them slip by without showing you! First up, her "Be nice to the world" poster conveys a lovely message to little ones in a bold, vibrant style. Even lovelier is that a proportion of every sale of this poster goes towards the World Wildlife Fund charity, to help towards the preservation of nature and endangered species. Next, her "City" poster, which tells the story of life in an animal town, and is guaranteed to inspire little imaginations with its playful, illustrative feel. And we just *love* the "Forest" poster, and its strikingly smart colour palette of fuchsia, mustard, navy and purple. Living just south of Stockholm with her husband and 2 boys, Ingela P. Arrhenius is well known for her bold and retro Scandinavian style. In addition to her posters and prints, she has illustrated children's books (including many written by her talented husband) and designed patterns for children's clothing, fabrics and stationery. All 3 posters measure 50 x 70cm, and are available for £18.95 from Scandinavian interiors specialist Hus and Hem. With their vivid and colourful, graphic style, these posters are guaranteed to brighten up a nursery, bedroom, playroom - in fact any room or wall of your home.
