Here at Bobby Rabbit we love a good cushion. And an animal cushion? Even better! So you can imagine how pleased we were to discover lovely American brand Gingiber and their beautiful collection of hand-sewn toy cushions, over at The Modern Baby. The collection includes six different animals, £22 each, including the bear, fox, owl and sheep pictured above and below (there's also a lion and an elephant), each one hand-screen-printed on to a cotton/linen fabric and hand-stitched. They also come with a lovely patterned plaid backing fabric made from 100% cotton. And if they get dirty, you can stick them in the washing machine! Gingiber was created in 2009 by illustrator Stacie Bloomfield, whilst she was decorating her daughter's nursery. She had visions for a brand that would appeal to both adults and children - and the smart combination of animals and fresh, contemporary patterns and colours enables her to do just that. So whether its a woodland animal, a safari animal or a farm animal you're after, Gingiber and The Modern Baby have got it covered. And that black sheep is just too irresistible for words.
