Today is a special day for Bobby Rabbit. For one year ago we published our very first blog post, starring the very beautiful Cottontails Baby store. So to celebrate our first birthday (and to thank you, our readers for supporting us over the last 12 months), we are excited to be partnering with Cottontails to offer one lucky reader £50 to spend in their gorgeous on-line toy shop - just in time for Christmas! You see, Bobby Rabbit and Cottontails have quite a bit in common that goes beyond the obvious connection in our names. Firstly, we both love rabbits. Founder of Cottontails Charlotte Evans even employs one full-time. But above all, we share a true passion for special little treasures and stunning soft toys that are a tiny bit quirky, a teeny bit stylish, and overflowing with character that babies, children and grown-ups will adore. We've selected a few of our favourite finds to show you just what we mean. Firstly, there's Lewis and Ella Toad, pictured above and £25 each, part of the brand new and very beautiful Hazel Village collection all the way from New York, where they are hand-made from organic cotton and impeccably dressed in removable outfits and accessories. The characters come with their very own story tags - you'll learn for example that Ella loves kickball, and comes wearing soft red jersey booties which she removes when she hops into the pond for a paddle. Artistic Lewis on the other hand is a skilled potter and uses his soft webbed hands to create his master pieces. So cute. And just look at these two! Bambi Deer by Scandinavian toy brand Maileg and costing £23 is a sweet and dainty little companion made from lovely soft fabrics including a baby cord cream face, felt arms and legs and a knitted spotty body. We're loving her fluffy scarf and printed floral ears. Ernest Rabbit by French brand Moulin Roty is every bit as stylish in his navy star tunic and soft, jersey cotton stripy top and trousers. At £22.50, he's a gorgeous gift for a newborn baby, not to mention one of our favourite toy rabbits of all time. Whilst we're on the subject of babies, we adore these fabric toy rattles, £10 each, also from Maileg. Measuring just 16cm in length and therefore the perfect size for little hands to grasp, the Prince and Princess are our favourites... And what beautiful little keepsakes too. Looking for a special something for the little Mademoiselle in your life? Then look no further - for these soft toy dolls by Moulin Roty are just perfect. Aptly named 'Les Parisiennes', the dolls have pretty embroidered faces and are elegantly dressed in gorgeous stylish fabrics with liberty print trims and chic Mary Janes. There's Eglantine, 37cm tall and £41 or Colette, 39cm tall and £48. Both come in their very own special gift box: And we couldn't resist showing you their little sister Eloise (£24). Slightly smaller measuring 25cm in height but just as captivating, she'll be going in our very own little Eloise's stocking this Christmas: For the boys, we're loving these guys, also by Moulin Roty. Igor Wolf and Gaston Raccoon, £19 each, stand at 30cm tall and are so full of character, who wouldn't love to adopt them (especially with that nose and those teeth)? And they're every bit as stylish as the rest of their friends - just check out that stripy fleece and checked shirt: Or how about Monsieur Renard the fox? Slightly crafty-looking but ever so chic and charming in his tweed waistcoat and velvet fur boots with embroidered buttons (can we have some please?), he has travelled all the way from France where he was lovingly designed as part of Moulin Roty's fairytale range. A stunning toy for £48. And last but not least, there's this totally adorable Milk Tooth Mouse, also by Moulin Roty. Measuring just 13cm in height and costing £16.50, he comes with a little pocket on his tummy labelled 'la dent de lait' ('milk tooth') and will keep those pearly whites safe and sound, ready for the tooth fairy's visit at bedtime. Spoilt for choice? Well, now you really can be if you win! To enter, simply leave us a comment below stating why you'd like to win £50 to spend at lovely Cottontails (make sure you check the Prize Draw rules too), and we'll pick the winner at random at 1.00pm on Friday 22nd November. And whilst you're at it, give us a 'like' right here on Facebook if you haven't done so already, or follow us here on Twitter. Go on, it's our birthday. So here's to another very happy year of treasure-hunting. All together now - hip hip hooray!
