Stop press! For THIS is one seriously beautiful little chair, available now at the lovely Sisters Guild children's store. The 'Little Suzie' chair, £116, is a brand new addition to the Les Gambettes collection, a fabulous range of children's furniture inspired by the 50s and re-created in gorgeous contemporary colours (you may remember our previous feature on their children's desks and chairs a while back). The playful and oh-so-adorable limited edition floral pattern (named 'Cache Cache' - literally 'hide-and-seek') was created especially for Les Gambettes by French design company Mini Labo, whose work we have loved and admired for a while now. And what better collaboration to create a very pretty modern day twist on a retro-style furniture piece? Made from a strong and sturdy steel frame with a beech plywood base and back, the chair's seat height measures 31cm - perfect for ages 3 and above. And just in case you are admiring it for yourself, well guess what… they come in adult sizes too! Pair it with any colour desk or play table (or if you buy the bigger version, your dining table) and it will look totally stunning, not to mention incredibly cute and stylish.
