When cushions can also double up as toys, it's always a winner. These fabulous Native American rag doll toys are part of the latest collection by Gunna Ydri, a Danish textile designer who lives with her family in North London. Inspired by her Scandinavian roots and rural upbringing, and with a passion for Nordic folklore designs and ethnic patterns, these beautiful cushions in brown, bright blue and orange have a lovely retro feel. And we adore the orange feather stitched into her head band! The dolls are printed and finished by hand by Gunna herself, using an off-white organic cotton base that is plain on the reverse. They are 32cm tall, the perfect size for cuddling, yet large enough to sit on the bed or chair as a fun and playful little cushion. They are available now from our new friends, Retro Kids. Normally costing £15, you can own your very own for £13.50 if you buy her before 29th October, using the code listed on our Special Deals page (thank you Retro Kids!) So why not go and have a look now - there's a matching bag together with a whole collection of other wonderful, unique, quirky and retro goodies just like the dolls, from designers all over the world. A lovely place to Christmas-shop this season.
