Earlier this year, we featured the amazing convertible, multi-functional Bunk Pod by IO Kids. Well, today we're excited to bring you 2 brand new additions to their growing furniture collection, the IO Tray Table and Bench Set (above and below) and the IO Desk. Made from laminated FSC Scandinavian birch plywood with powder-coated metal legs and available in bright red or yellow, the tray table and bench set is not only beautifully designed and constructed but just like the other pieces in the IO Kids collection, it's incredibly practical too. Sturdy and strong, with a scratch and stain resistant surface, yet lightweight and stackable, the table itself can either be used as a tilted tray to create the perfect setting for building block fun, or as a flat play table and desk for reading, writing, drawing, painting and of course - homework. At 74cm long, the bench can easily sit 2 children, so they can play and learn together. 
And then there's the wonderful IO Desk. The beauty of this piece of furniture is its simplicity - for it's made from just 6 pieces of high quality FSC birch plywood that slot together quickly and easily. Just like the tray and bench set, functionality ranks highly - not only is the height of the desk fully adjustable so that it 'grows' with your child, but it also incorporates other useful little details such as slots for books and folders and holes for pen storage, not to mention an additional shelf underneath the table top for extra storage, meaning no more excuses for an untidy workspace! And being based on the shape and design of an old fashioned school desk (with a totally fresh and modern slant), it looks pretty amazing too:
