If you're on the look out for lovely gifts this Holiday season, then make sure you stop off at Cottontails. Run by Charlotte and her ever so helpful (and even more adorable) house rabbit assistant Rudolph, Cottontails is a special, quirky and magical place where the toys really do come to life. We have always loved European soft toy brands Maileg (from Denmark) and Moulin Roty (France), and Cottontails stocks them both. And so today, with Christmas just around the corner, we thought we would pick out some of our favourite characters, all of them ready to be adopted, looked after and loved by a special little one this season. First up is Croco, £43, (above). Sitting at 30cm tall, he's one of the cutest crocs we've seen. And here's another wolf that caught our eye... LouLou by Moulin Roty, £41, is part of the Tartempois collection - 47cm long, dangly creatures just waiting to be dragged along on adventures everywhere. From his fluffy yellow head and tail end to his bright pink nose, soft fleecy trousers and giant feet, to his cotton ears, quirky patterned waistcoat and neck tie, LouLou and his friends are made with the greatest attention to detail using beautiful fabrics and some of the most gorgeous sophisticated colours we have seen: 
Cute as he may be though, these little Kitties by Maileg are keeping their distance! At just 27cm tall, Mini Kitty Boy, £13, and Mini Kitty Girl, £15.50, are the perfect little stocking fillers for children of all ages. Simple and sweet, with charming embroidered faces and the cutest accessories, these cats can be dressed up in any of the clothing available at Cottontails for the mini rabbit toys (and just when you thought baby clothes were cute, just check out the toy rabbit wardrobe…) 
Last but not least is Agathe, £24. One of the prettiest girls in town with her stripy top, spotty tights, printed dress and fur cape and neck tie (not to mention her strawberry blonde pig tails, embroidered eyes and beautiful pink eye lashes and cheeks), she is part of Moulin Roty's stunning 'Les Parisiennes' soft toy doll collection. Just like Little Red Riding Fox, she's all ready to brave the winter, and just like her friend LouLou, she's head to toe in the most stunning combination of colours - and an outfit we wouldn't mind wearing ourselves!
