Look what we were sent the other week! These lovely iron-on 'clothes plasters' from British brand Jennie Maizels are so much fun and allow you to totally personalise your child's clothing, bedding, curtains, cushions - whatever you like that is made of fabric and can be ironed. So you can imagine how excited we were when a set of our choice arrived on our doorstep, together with a cushion cover and pad to decorate in our very own, Bobby Rabbit way. Selecting the theme was pretty easy, as we fell in love with this adorable little fawn patch right away! So we set about creating a miniature woodland scene using birds, toadstools, clouds and rainbows to make a special focal point and feature in one corner of the cushion: The patches come as singles and pairs (£3.49 each) or themed sets (£8.99 each) - we chose a mix of both as the 'bird' set was so cute... You can also get letters (£1.99 each) which would be amazing as a stocking filler or party bag gift, not to mention an opportunity for your child to wear their own name on the back of their jacket! The patches come beautifully packaged, so make perfect gifts. Both the embroidered details and the quality are gorgeous (we're loving the slightly retro style and themes too), and what's more, they are super easy to use - simply take an iron, a dry cloth and away you go. We loved creating our cushion, and our daughter obviously loves it too as it now has pride of place in her play tent! We already have plans for the next project (involving a fairy, a magic wand, a bird and the letter E)... We'll share it just as soon as it is ready. So, whether you're looking to personalise a plain cushion cover or jacket, or simply to fill up a few party bags, this is a lovely little brand that may just be the answer.
