We were excited to be one of the first to hear about this amazing range of children's alphabet tableware and bedding from Denmark, new in at the gorgeous Nubie nursery boutique. Based on a bold but simple, hand-drawn typography design created by Danish architect Arne Jacobsen in 1937 for the Aarhus City Hall (a design that has since become one of the most celebrated graphic fonts of the era), we love that Danish company Design Letters have introduced it to the children's arena. And why not indeed? After all, it's fun whilst being educational, relevant and recognisable to children, not to mention incredibly stylish when married with the simple, minimalist shapes and colour palette of the tableware and bedding. The cot bed bedding is 100% cotton and the tableware is made from strong and chip resistant melamine. At £58.50 for the bedding set (duvet cover and pillow case), £9 each for the plates, bowls and beakers, and £23 for the melamine cutlery set, the range is gorgeously giftable for birthdays and other big occasions. You can rest assured that you'll be giving them something incredibly special and stylish that they can (and will) use every day.
